- Early in 2000, Al Wegdaniyah introduced bus transport
- In 2008, the company joined the Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. for Young Business Leaders.
- In 2008, and in order to attain further market reach and adapt to the preferences of the market, Al Wegdaniyah introduced the rental of luxury cars.

On January 8, 1997, Al Wegdaniyah was founded as a Sole Proprietorship local car rental company in Dubai, UAE.
Over the years, Al Wegdaniyah would go on to pioneer many industry features to improve the rental experience for their customers. The company later introduced bus transport services with a large fleet of the latest top-branded luxury buses.
As Al Wegdaniyah continued to grow and evolve, so too did its identity. In early 2008, it became one of the local companies to introduce luxurious car rental services.
